AUTOSTAMP S.A., at the present time, on the basis of their knowledge and experience, VirtualStamp is developing an R&D&I project. VirtualStamp is trying to reduce the time required for fine tuning means of production by applying numeric calculation of finite elements to determined die design problems.
At the present time VirtualStamp consists of two modules, Vuela and Flexa. Vuela deals with the calculation of maximum transferisation speed, while Flexa considers deformations in the die itself and its consequences for the final product. VirtualStamp is a joint software, which means that outputs are obtained prior to manufacturing the productive means, greatly reducing the subsequent fine-tuning of tool corrections and the production phase.
ERDF, CDTI and IBEROEKA
VirtualStamp is a CDTI (Centre for Technological, Industrial Development) project with the IBEROEKA seal, thanks to Alta Desenhos Industriais (collaborating Brazilian company) and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
